Browser and Cache Help

If you’re having browser issues, a good first step is to clear your cache or try an incognito (private) window. Clearing your cache removes saved files and data that can sometimes cause pages to load incorrectly, while an incognito window lets you browse without using stored history or cookies. Both help ensure you’re seeing the freshest version of the site.

If you need a quick way to test whether an issue is caused by stored data, try an incognito window first. If the problem goes away, clearing your cache is the next step to fix it permanently.

  • Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Or, click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner and select New InPrivate Window.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + P
  • Or, click the three lines (☰) in the top-right corner and select New Private Window.

Safari (Mac & iOS)

  • Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + N or go to the File menu and select New Private Window.
  • iPhone/iPad: Open Safari, tap the tabs icon, then tap [Private] and open a new tab.

Mobile (Chrome & Edge on Android/iOS)

  • Open the app.
  • Tap the three dots (⋮ or …) in the corner.
  • Select New Incognito Tab (Chrome) or New InPrivate Tab (Edge).

Then choose the Cookies and site data option, displayed here:

Next, click on the Manage on-device site data option and this screen will then present:-

From here, simply click on the small waste bin icon and click done.

This will clear any stored history and you can refresh the page and re-connect.

Nb. Any detail or settings you had set will be removed as part of the process.

Other browsers may have slightly different icons for clearing the cache, as indicated here:-
