Equipment and Connection Test
Firstly, you should ensure that your device has sufficient battery life to last the duration of your video consultation. It is then recommended that an equipment and connection test is carried out before joining. This test will look at the four key components required for a successful video interaction; your camera, speaker, microphone and internet connection.
The platform will prompt you to complete these tests before you join your video consultation.

Once you have selected the 'Test Equipment' button, you will be presented with this screen.

From here you simply need to select 'Run Test' and follow the prompts provided on screen. The connectivity test can take up to 30 seconds (sometimes a little longer) depending on the speed of your internet.
If you are confident that all of your equipment is already working and set up correctly, you can skip this stage and select 'Join waiting room' from the original screen.
If any of the key components required for a successful video interaction are not working as expected, the platform will indicate a '❌' alongside the component with the issue. If all tests were successful you will be presented with an 'everything looks great' message as displayed below.

From here you can either select the 'Change your details' button to return to the previous screen or you can select 'Skip' which will place you into the waiting room ready for your video consultation to begin.
