Create a Waiting room consultation

Head to the Waiting Room tab. Select the room from which you want to run the consultation. Click the invite icon (open envelope) and choose to send an invite via SMS, email, or by copying the waiting room link into your own communications.


You can add a customised message, such as the date, time, and any preparation notes.


The caller/patient will receive the invite, click the link, and be guided through simple pre-entry steps before arriving in the waiting room ready for their consultation.


Join a Waiting room consultation

Head to the Waiting Room tab and select the relevant room. If someone is waiting, a panel will display 'People in this Room'. The caller/patient's status is shown within the tile; this may be Waiting, Being Seen, or Late if they arrive after the expected start time.

A notification will confirm when your caller/patient enters the waiting area, this appears briefly on screen and then sits within your notifications (red bell icon in the top banner), along with the number of unread notifications. To clear them, first select 'Mark all as read', then 'Clear all read'.

When ready to join, view 'People in this Room', check the box alongside the caller/patient's name, and select the handset icon to start the consultation. The eye icon lets you view caller/patient details before joining, and the + icon lets you send a one-way message.

Selecting the handset icon, instigates the start of the consultation.

Leave a Waiting room consultation

Select the Leave icon at the bottom-right of the call screen and choose 'End Meeting for all'. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm. Selecting 'End Meeting' will close the consultation.
