How to Guide - Upload a YouTube Video

To upload a YouTube Video to your waiting room service, you will need administration permissions within your platform account role, alternatively speak to your department or customer administrator.

Firstly select the video clip from YouTube and head to the 'share' option to the bottom right hand side of your screen.

You should then be presented with a pop up window that looks similar to this. Choose 'Embed'.

You will then be presented with this window:-

From here you will need to select the link from the box on the right hand side of the screen and copy the URL in between the “ “ highlighted below for clarity:-

Copy this path as you will need to enter this in the relevant field within the 'Theming' tab of your waiting room service.

From the Waiting Rooms tab, find the room you wish to update and click the pencil (edit) icon. On the waiting room details page, select the Theming tab from the box on the right.

You can then paste the video link path into the box provided, and scroll down the page to select save.

When callers/patients join your waiting room service they are now offered the option to play this video, see example screen.
